DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI
Hanoi is the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the country's second largest city by population. This thousand-year-old city is considered one of the main cultural centers of Vietnam, where most Vietnamese dynasties have left their imprint. Even though some relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many interesting cultural and historic monuments for visitors and residents alike. The city hosts more cultural sites than any other city in Vietnam.
Upon arrival, Custom Vietnam Travel’s tour guide and driver will warmly welcome you and take you to the city downtown for starting the sightseeing tour of Hanoi's featured sites if the time permits. Otherwise, check into your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.

DAY 2: HANOI - SAPA (MUONG HOA TREK)
Today, we will start a bit early (7:30 AM) because of the long morning drive to Sapa. It takes us about 5 hours driving to Sapa on the HW Noi Bai – Lao Cai. This is the longest highway in Vietnam. The scenic drive from the Red River Delta, through the midland to Lao Cai province, will be a good start for your trip.
Arrive in Sapa around noon, have lunch at a restaurant in town and check in to the hotel for a short rest and refresh.
In the afternoon, you are transferred to a trekking point to trek Muong Hoa Valley. The trek from Y Linh Ho Village to Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong is one of the best scenery in the region. Get picked up and transferred back to the town at the end of the day. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 3: SAPA TREK (FROM MA TRA TO TA PHIN) - BAC HA (SAT)
After breakfast, check out of your room and transfer to Ma Tra village for a trek mostly on a small concrete path to Ta Phin village of the Red Yao people (~8km). This trek also offers you great scenery of rice terraced field views. Besides that, you do have a chance to learn about the other colorful hill tribe in the region. It is the Red Yao people.

In the afternoon, get back on your private vehicle and make the way to Bac Ha town. The drive lasts for almost 3 hours. On the way, have a short stop at the border gate to China in Lao Cai city. Take a view over the border bridge and you may want to take some photos before carrying on the drive. Arrive at Bac Ha town, check in a hotel and rest for the remainder of the day. Dinner and overnight in Bac Ha.
DAY 4: BAC HA HILL TRIBE MARKET - HANOI (SUN)
Have your breakfast at the hotel, as usual, then your tour guide will walk you to the market.
The hill tribe market is very colorful and really like a local festival. Here you will see Flower Hmong, Phu La, Dao, Tay, Nung…all hill tribe groups gathered around for trading. It is an awesome experience of seeing colors, understanding traditions and feeling the atmosphere. The market offers a variety of local products includes colorful embroidery, handicrafts and all types of daily necessary stuff.
Here also available animal market where people sell and buy or barter animal such as dogs, pot-bellied pigs, cows, buffalos and so on. After lunch, you will spend the whole afternoon driving back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 6:00 PM. Check in your hotel and stay for the night.
DAY 5: HANOI - HALONG BAY CRUISE
Meet your tour guide and driver again at 8:00 AM to start the day.
The morning, drive through the Red River Delta will take you to Halong City after almost 4 hours. On Arrival at the pier, embark on a Deluxe Junk and cruise to discover the bay in the afternoon.
Have lunch while cruising to the magnificent bay of the World Heritage, admiring the fascinating formations of limestone islands. The activities include swimming in the crystal water; visiting a limestone cave; swimming or kayaking.
Have dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 6: HALONG BAY - HANOI
Wake up early in the morning for sunrise and a view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. After the soft breakfast, the crew pulls up the anchor for the further cruise to other parts of the bay and visit a peaceful area by a sampan boat ride. After that, the boat gently meanders between the rocks and towards the pier.
An A la carte brunch is served on the way.
Disembark at noontime. Get back on your private transport and take the afternoon drive to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi, check back into your hotel. The dinner is on your own account.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM HANOI
This morning, depending upon your departure flight schedule, the airport transfer will be arranged for you. If time permits, you will be able to do some last shopping by yourselves.
